The blanket is pricked in several places to prevent the silk from falling off and to keep it in place. This blanket requires special care. Not for washing or dry cleaning. Periodic fresh air ventilation is recommended. We do not recommend shaking to prevent falling. The thickness of these blankets makes them ideal for all seasons. Silk is pleasantly cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold. The silk is excellent at evaporating excess moisture so you won't sweat under this blanket.
